Fruit Bread

The loaf comes out all lovely with an amazing aroma.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 3 hours

Servings: 12

Ingredients:

3¾ cups plus 1 tablespoon of bread flour

1 cup of dried fruits

1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of water

¼ cup of packed brown sugar

1/3 cup of pecans, chopped

3 tablespoons of butter, softened

1 egg

2 teaspoons of active dry yeast

1½ teaspoons of salt

¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg

A dash of allspice

Directions:

1. Add all the ingredients except the fruit and pecans to your bread machine pan according to the order suggested by the manufacturer.

2. Select basic bread setting and press start.

3. Add the dried fruits and pecans just before your machine signals final kneading.
