Pecan Apple Bread

You can nibble on this loaf or use it to make your favorite sandwich.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 3 hours 30 minutes

Servings: 12

Ingredients:

3 cups of bread flour

1 cup of water

½ cup of apple, unpeeled and chopped

¼ cup of packed brown sugar

1/3 cup of pecans, coarsely chopped and toasted

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

2 teaspoons of quick active dry yeast

1 teaspoon of salt

¾ teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Directions:

1. Add all the ingredients except the apple and pecans to your bread machine pan according to the order suggested by the manufacturer.

2. Select sweet bread or basic/white setting and press start.

3. Add the apple and pecans 5-10 minutes before the final kneading ends.
