In my opinion, this is the best-tasting sourdough bread recipe ever.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 3 hours
Servings: 18
Ingredients:
3½ cups of all-purpose flour, divided
1 cup of sourdough starter
¾ cup of warm milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1½ tablespoons of soft butter
2¼ teaspoons of active dry yeast
2 teaspoons of salt
Directions:
1. In a bread machine pan, add a cup of flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Select basic bread cycle to combine the ingredients.
2. Add the butter and milk to the flour mix slowly while the machine is still stirring. Repeat the process with the sourdough starter.
3. Add the remaining flour and close the machine so it can finish baking.
