Rum Raisin Bread

Soft bread highlighted with rum and dotted with raisins.

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 3 hours

Servings: 8

Ingredients:

2¼ cups of bread flour

1 cup of raisins 

¾ cup of milk

2 tablespoons of butter

2 tablespoons of dark rum

2 tablespoons of packed brown sugar

1 egg

1¾ teaspoons of instant or bread machine yeast

1 teaspoon of salt

½ teaspoon of ground allspice 

Directions:

1. Add all the ingredients except the raisins to your bread machine pan according to the order suggested by the manufacturer.

2. Select sweet cycle and press start.

3. Add the raisins just before your machine signals final kneading.
