JOSH SULLIVAN is a partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, one of the most respected US consulting firms in technology and management. Sullivan created the company’s data science team and has spent years showing leaders how data science can solve complex organizational problems. He has worked with hundreds of companies in the Fortune 500 as well as with government agencies, helping reshape organizations to win by adopting the principles of the mathematical corporation.
A pioneer in the field of machine intelligence, Sullivan speaks widely on the future of data science–driven organizations, and his comments and interviews have appeared in the media, including on CNBC and in the Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review, and many others. Over the past decade, his data science team has grown to more than five hundred—one of the world’s largest. He and his team have developed advanced data science programs for national intelligence, cyberspace, healthcare, and large-scale financial systems, including completely new methods for solving data science problems.
Sullivan earlier served in numerous management, technical, and engineering roles. He earned his MS from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in applied computer science from Northcentral University. He currently serves on corporate advisory boards at several major US universities.
