WHEN I WAS FIRST INTRODUCED to the world of sheet-pan dinners, I enjoyed it mostly because it meant I wouldn’t have much cleaning up to do after a meal. But now, as I continue to fall in love with sheet-pan dinners, I have come to love how creative, easy and fun they are!
One thing I really want to accomplish with these recipes is to give you new ideas. Bruschetta Chicken and Squash, Sheet-Pan Jambalaya, Salmon Niçoise Salad with Mustard Dressing and Sheet-Pan Kung Pao Chicken are just a few recipes that are not your “traditional” sheet-pan dinners. I want to give you fresh ideas that you can have fun re-creating with your whole family.
But, for those busy weeknights, Mini Meatloaf Dinner, 5-Ingredient Chicken and Asparagus and Glazed Teriyaki Salmon are just a few examples of quick and easy sheet-pan dinners you can have on the table in little to no time.
You will also notice I use aluminum foil or parchment paper in a lot of these recipes for even easier clean up. In many cases, because we are cooking the protein at high oven temperatures, wrapping your vegetables in foil or parchment paper is a great way to cook the vegetables without burning them.
