There are some characters that I loved so much that they had to be brought back. Where Darkness Reigns contains some of my favorite characters who had to meet and join forces with other characters.

Rayne Simoneaud is betrayed by her lover, Dominic St Germaine, in A Deadly Combination, but seeks out her revenge in Seduced by Voodoo.
Josie Bellows is a young vamp from CarnEvil of Souls who searches for the vampire who turned her so that she can find Redemption.
Detective Grace Hutcherson has fought vampires in CarnEvil of Souls, survived the battle of good versus evil in Seduced by Voodoo and now finds herself plagued by Haunted Visions.
