mission is to help women live a better story by leading them to the heart of God’s love and the truth of his Word. She has spent the majority of her adult life involved in women’s ministries as well as being a biblical lay counselor and Christian life coach. In 2005, she brought together a team and founded Design4Living Ministries to challenge women to experience spiritual transformation, equipping women for a life of faith. Debbie has authored Bible studies, books, and curriculums. In addition, she has been a featured writer for Calvary Chapel, In Touch, and Focus on the Family. Debbie and her husband, Ray, have raised a blended family of four adult children. Today Debbie’s favorite role is being a grandma to ten little ones.is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a private practice in the East Bay of San Francisco. Her mission is to help individuals and couples find freedom from old, painful beliefs and patterns so they can experience joyful connection with themselves, others, and God. Joan has been an adjunct professor at Western Seminary and has taught classes on various counseling topics at churches in her area. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Joan received her bachelor’s degree from Vassar College and her master’s degree from Western Seminary. Joan is happily married and has two adult daughters, four stepdaughters, and five grandchildren.
