Pepperoni Dip

My guests always ask for this recipe whenever I serve this.

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

½ cup sour cream

½ teaspoon dried oregano

⅛ teaspoon garlic powder

⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper

½ cup pizza sauce

½ cup finely chopped pepperoni

¼ cup finely chopped green onions

¼ cup finely chopped green bell pepper

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Corn chips for serving

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9-inch pie pan. In a small bowl combine the cream cheese, sour cream, oregano, garlic powder, and cayenne and beat until smooth. Spread the mixture evenly in the pie pan. Layer with the pizza sauce, pepperoni, green onion, and green pepper. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Serve hot with corn chips.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.
