White Chocolate Pie

The key to being a good entertainer is proper planning. Don’t make yourself so busy while your guests are there that you don’t have time to talk to them. This pie, which has to be made ahead, helps with that.

4 (1-ounce) white chocolate baking squares

20 large marshmallows

½ cup milk

1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

¾ cup pecans, chopped

½ cup maraschino cherries, chopped and well drained

1 (9-inch) graham cracker piecrust

Melt together the white chocolate, marshmallows, and milk in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring occasionally until smooth. Cool completely. Fold in the whipped topping, pecans, and cherries. Pour into the graham cracker crust, cover, and freeze. Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
