Try this for a different take on breakfast bacon. Your guests will surely want seconds.
1 pound thick-cut bacon
⅓ cup firmly packed brown sugar
¼ cup pecans
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 10 × 15 × 1-inch baking pan. Arrange the bacon on the baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the bacon is brown. While the bacon is cooking, combine the brown sugar, pecans, and black pepper in a small food processor. Pulse until the pecans are finely chopped. When the bacon is cooked and lightly browned, pour off the fat. Sprinkle the bacon with the brown sugar mixture and return to the oven for 10 more minutes before serving.
