Dear Reader,

I’m so pleased you’re joining me again for another story of love and faith in the Amish community of Seven Poplars! The matchmaker, Sara Yoder, has certainly stirred things up, hasn’t she? I don’t know about you, but I love this character. Sara has the wisdom of our old friend from my previous books, Hannah Yoder, but there’s something sassy about Sara I find appealing. She’s someone I would love to be friends with.

In this story, you’ll be meeting Mari Yoder, a young woman who left her Amish life in Wisconsin years ago, but, through circumstances, finds herself and her son in Sara’s care. Mari isn’t looking for a husband, and she certainly has no intentions of becoming Amish again. But there’s something about Seven Poplars and the Amish community that makes her feel as if she’s finally come home.

And then there’s James Hostetler, the nicest guy you would ever want to meet, who befriends Mari, making no judgments on her past. They really are just friends. Or are they more? You’ll just have to read on to find out!

Wishing you peace and joy,

Emma Miller
