- comms (KOMZ) —
- short for communications; a headset, microphone, or other device used to communicate with other people on a team
- counter (KOUN-tuhr) —
- to act in opposition to someone else’s action
- elemental (el-uh-MEN-tuhl) —
- having to do with the elements of nature including earth, water, air, fire, electricity, and others
- fragile (FRAJ-uhl) —
- easily damaged or broken
- KO (KAY-OH) —
- stands for Knock Out; when a player is eliminated during game play
- minion (MIN-yuhn) —
- a small or minor creature in a game that is usually weak, but often appears in large numbers
- MOBA (MOH-bah) —
- stands for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena; a video game played on the internet, usually with multiple teammates
- respawn (ree-SPAWN) —
- when a video game character reenters the game after having been defeated by an opposing player
- scrimmage (SKRIM-ihj) —
- a practice game
- turret (TUR-it) —
- a rotating structure that holds a powerful weapon used for fighting enemies in many directions
