comms (KOMZ)
short for communications; a headset, microphone, or other device used to communicate with other people on a team
counter (KOUN-tuhr)
to act in opposition to someone else’s action
elemental (el-uh-MEN-tuhl)
having to do with the elements of nature including earth, water, air, fire, electricity, and others
fragile (FRAJ-uhl)
easily damaged or broken
KO (KAY-OH)
stands for Knock Out; when a player is eliminated during game play
minion (MIN-yuhn)
a small or minor creature in a game that is usually weak, but often appears in large numbers
MOBA (MOH-bah)
stands for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena; a video game played on the internet, usually with multiple teammates
respawn (ree-SPAWN)
when a video game character reenters the game after having been defeated by an opposing player
scrimmage (SKRIM-ihj)
a practice game
turret (TUR-it)
a rotating structure that holds a powerful weapon used for fighting enemies in many directions
