Who paints the world in myriad hues?
The leaves so green, the sky so blue?
Who makes the flowers so pretty?
Who bejewels the woods serene?
As I sit in Central Park
Holding coffee in both my hands
I arching towards the golden sun
And let the breeze caress my cheek.
I watch children running round
Reminding me of my boys back home
A couple walks past hand-in-hand
I smile thinking of my lovely wife.
A family plays and laughs together
A mother unpacks her labour of love
My heart wanders to those days
When Papa took us all out together.
The love of family, parents and siblings
Makes life so fulfilling and complete
Our bonds are lifelong, we are tied together
By the same creator who bedecks nature.
