In this book you will meet a breed of dog you may not be familiar with...the Belgian Tervuren These dogs are known in Belgium as the “chien de Berger Belge” or Belgian Sheepdog. The breed has a shaggy, semi-long coat, intense looks, and incredible intelligence. Its beautiful coat containing browns, blacks, and other similar shades which identifies it as a relative of the German Shepherd.

The breed originated in the Belgian countryside and until more recent times was known only as a sheepdog. Nowadays, it is also used by many police forces throughout the world as a guard dog.
