I’ve been trying to avoid Arin since we boarded the ship and it doesn’t seem to be going all that well.
Every time I turn around she’s right there. Always wearing that sweet sexy smile as well as something that hugs her beautiful body as if it were completely made just for her.

“Fuck.” I breathe into my drink as I look across the room and see her yet again talking to that Mark guy.
“Doesn’t that fucker have a job to do?” I say to myself a little too loudly and I hear a chuckle behind me.
Turning around, I see another guy serving drinks behind the bar.
“I’m going to assume Mark over there is getting a little too close to something that belongs to you?” He asks with a knowing smirk.
“She’s not mine.” I grumble.
“But you want her to be?” He raises his brow. “You don’t have to say a thing. The answer is already written all over your face.”
“It can’t happen.” I grunt, downing the rest of my drink.
“Why not? She’s a very beautiful woman. She won’t stay single forever.” He walks away with that parting shot.
He’s right. She won’t stay single forever. She deserves every bit of happiness she can find in this life but she also has her whole life ahead of her and plenty of time to find it.
I might be too old for her but that doesn’t stop me from wanting her.
