Try this picker-upper instead of regular store-bought juices that are heavily laced with sugar. You know what the ingredients are and you will discover what natural flavor really means. Perfect for storing in the refrigerator or serving with any meal of the day.
INGREDIENTS:
46 ounces apricot nectar
3 cups orange juice
½ cup packed brown sugar
2 TBSP fresh lemon juice
3 sticks cinnamon
2 cloves, whole
INSTRUCTIONS:
Using your slow cooker, add orange juice, apricot nectar, brown sugar and lemon juice. Stir.
Place the cinnamon sticks and cloves in a small cheesecloth bag and tie. Add the bag to the juice.
Cook on low for 3-5 hours.
Perfect served hot on cool days or served iced, on warm days.
