Eating is important to my family and always has been. The quality of what we put into our bodies is vital, so a few of my siblings and I decided to launch our own product lines where we can control the purity and quality of a few key ingredients we use often in our kitchens.
MARLEY COFFEE: My brother Rohan packages sustainably grown and ethically farmed coffee with each roast named after one of Daddy’s songs. The coffee is sourced from Ethiopia, Jamaica, and Central and South America and is roasted by hand—he even grows organic Blue Mountain coffee on the family’s 52-acre farm in the parish of Portland. Rohan has partnered with Water Wise Coffee to help compost coffee pulp and reduce waste impact while helping support the people and communities where Marley Coffee is sourced.

MARLEY KITCHEN: My family’s line of sauces are also named after a few of Daddy’s songs, like “Jammin’” jerk barbecue sauce, “Catch a Fire” Scotch bonnet pepper sauce, and “One Love” spicy tomato sauce. All are based on traditional Jamaican recipes. We’re working with small family farms to ensure the pureness and quality of the sauces and also to carry on the sustainable movement as a family.
One percent of the sales from sauces contributes to creating a sustainable-income source for women and their children through farming initiatives under the Women Helping Others Achieve (WHOA) program. This program provides funding to build the capacity for women farmers through skills training, provision of seeds, shade and greenhouses, and necessary tools and equipment in Jamaica, Grenada, and Haiti.
