Edith Byrd comes from a long line of Ohio natives. She left her little Ohio only for educational purposes to study geography at Montreal where she also met her husband. Upon their marriage they both returned to Ohio where they’ve been living for the better part of the last two decades.
For Edith, writing didn’t come naturally and she never had the strong urge to publish her thoughts. Her creativity sprung when her second-born son was diagnosed with Asperger’s, so she had to come up with alternatives for him to focus on any subject. This constant practice in creating stories for her son and her interest in literature pushed her to eventually write books.
In her free time, she volunteers for people with disabilities, studies Ohio’s history, and enjoys long walks with her husband and two dogs.
