A handsome, reversible tuck stitch gives beautiful texture to this scarf. The ends of the scarf are turned up and seamed, creating pockets to keep those hands warm on the coldest of days. Roses are then added to complete the look.

•Knitting tool
•Crochet hook
•Measuring tape
•Yarn/tapestry needle
•Cable needle (optional)
Special Stitches
Tuck knit: On rows where there are multiple sts on the pegs (created by the skipped sts with yarn in front of peg) and you are instructed to knit, use the regular knit stitch to knit all sts together, creating the tuck.
MB (make bobble): Make an e-wrap knit stitch by making an e-wrap and lifting the bottom loop over the top wrap (you may wish to keep this stitch on a cable needle for easier lifting later). Make 4 more e-wrap knit stitches on the same peg. Reach down below the peg and pick up the first e-wrap knit stitch and lift it onto the peg. E-wrap knit all stitches on peg together as one.
Pattern Notes
•If substituting yarn, use a natural fiber blend or 100 percent natural fiber, as this scarf requires blocking to lie flat. Alternatively, you may add sts for a garter or ribbed edge.
•Make the 4 roses first to ensure that you have enough yarn.
•For photo-illustrated instructions on how to make a bobble (MB), see pages 119–20.
