As far as I can recall, the most worthwhile piece of advice anyone has ever given me was, “don’t eat the yellow snow.” But that just made the idea of yellow snow a forbidden fruit (or frozen dessert in this case), so I turned it into a zesty, honey-infused frozen lemonade that’s sweet enough for dessert, and strong enough to fight onion or garlic breath.
Finely grated zest of 2 lemons
1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 8 lemons, juiced)
2 cups water
2 tablespoons honey
1. Whisk together all the ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Fill 2 ice cube trays with the liquid and put in the freezer until frozen.
3. Remove the ice cubes when frozen (less than 5 hours) and place in a blender. Blend until you achieve a frozen snow consistency.
4. Scoop and serve.
