All things really are possible through Jesus Christ. If you would have asked me ten years ago if I would ever write a book, I would have laughed and said no. But God had other plans. He guided my steps here, and I want to say thank you to those who have supported me on this journey:

First and foremost, I want to thank God. I’m a flawed man saved by grace. I don’t deserve this opportunity, but I’m grateful for it and I don’t take it lightly. Thank you for giving me the chance to love my brothers and sisters.

Dave, Sharon, and the Ramsey family. Four years ago you saw something in me and believed in me. You invited me to join your team and help provide hope to people in all walks of life. I am grateful for your generosity and for the huge shoulders I’m standing on.

Preston Cannon, the book guy (a.k.a. the VP of Ramsey Press). This is our second book and third product in just four years. Wow. Thank you for this opportunity. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for helping me spread the message.

Matt Litton, you are the man. Thank you for the long hours, late nights, dozens of phone calls, and writing sessions, and for stretching me outside of my comfort zone.

Jennifer Day and Cathy Shanks, my editors. Thank you for making this the best book possible. Let’s do some more books together!

Suzanne Simms, Jeremy Breland, and Jim King. From day one of joining this team, you guys have had my back. We’ve had some tough conversations that have led to an amazing journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The personality team: Rachel Cruze, Christy Wright, Ken Coleman, and Chris Hogan. Watching you win has inspired me to push even harder. Thank you for being the best in your areas and supporting me to be the best in mine. Let’s win.

Elizabeth Cole and the publicity team. My desire and dream is to reach all people. Thank you for helping me do just that.

Justin Dorris and Dawn Medley, who handle my speaking and traveling schedule. Thank you for helping me share and spread this message across the nation!

Chris Carrico, Gretchen Hyer, and the design team. The book looks awesome. I’m grateful for your creative eye.

Jeremy Frierson, thank you for donating your time and talent to make sure my wardrobe was on point for the book jacket. Keep going after your dreams.

The AO win team: Lindsey Heatherly, Brad Imburgia, Conner Adams, Connor Wangner, Kelli Porter, Mallory Darcy, Julia Mynhier, Catherine Jackson, Ara Vito, and Kristen Baird. Thank you for dreaming with me, for the disagreements, and for the long meetings. Let’s impact a generation!

The entire Ramsey Education Solutions team. Thank you for working every single day to help teenagers graduate high school with the financial literacy that I didn’t have. Your hard work is changing the future.

My parents: Anthony and Terry Ross and John and Ann Givens. Thank you for your continued prayers, love, support, and wisdom. I wouldn’t be here without you.

Bishop McKissick Jr, the Bethel Church, and One Way—my favorite youth ministry. Thank you for allowing me to serve you and grow with you. My heart for this message began with you.

My nieces and nephews (a.k.a. the chocolate babies). Thank you for loving your uncle. One day you might be in college, and you will do it the debt-free degree way.

All the people who have shared their stories with me. Thank you for helping us learn how to do college the right way.
