Ingredients:
- Fava beans - 2 cups
- Parsley - 1/2 cup
- Dill - half cup
- Coriander powder - 1 and half tsps.
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 cup
- Vegetable oil
- Red onion (quartered) - 1
- Cilantro - half cup
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Directions:
- Take a mixing bowl and stir in the fava beans. Pour several inches of water in it. Soak the fava beans for 8 hours. Sieve.
- Blend fava beans, cumin, red onion, salt, parsley, coriander, cilantro, garlic, and dill in a blender.
- Heat a saucepan. Stir in the sesame seeds and cook until they are fried (for 5 minutes). Put the roasted sesame seeds in a plate.
- Form the fava mixture like balls. Coat with sesame seeds.
- Heat 1/4 of oil in a pan. Sauté the balls until they get light brown (for 5 minutes). Sieve on the paper towels.
