CHAPTER 3

Weeknight Wonders

We at The Chew know how hard it can be to get dinner on the table every night of the week. Some of you have picky eaters at home, or have crazy work schedules; and some of you are slightly challenged when it comes to creativity. We get it! Each of us has been there at one point or another. We know just how easy it can be to get stuck in a routine of boneless, skinless chicken breasts and frozen pizza. You know what we’re talking about.

And how many times have you heard your family say, “Chicken again?” Probably too many to count.

We are here to help you! We have combed through our bank of thousands of recipes and pulled the best of the best from our viewer experts who have, by some miracle, mastered the art of the weeknight meal. These recipes are foolproof, delicious, and will have you sitting down and enjoying dinner with your family in no time. And we’ve even tried to choose recipes that keep the cleanup to a minimum because nobody likes to do the dishes.

Some dishes come together in less than twenty minutes, some offer a make-ahead component, and others just use some good, old-fashioned help from the grocery store. It’s all about shortcuts and simplicity, quality ingredients, and some TLC. You’ll be really proud of what you can accomplish with a little help from your Chew friends—and your family will love you for it. Enjoy!
