Looking to the Future

We’ve covered the major domains of life for your children—home, school, and friends—and examined the potential pitfalls that can happen with introverts. Throughout the chapters, there have been charts, worksheets, and tip sheets to help provide practical advice and strategies to enhance the lives of your children.

I hope you have found the information helpful as you work with your introverted child. Maybe you have learned some things about yourself as well. As you look now to the future and the impact introversion has across the lifespan, take a moment to reflect on your new opinions about introversion overall, and compare them to the feelings you had when you started the book. Take a couple of minutes to answer the questionnaire on page 180 and think about what you will take with you as you continue to influence and support your children.
