From a photographer’s viewpoint Joey’s bike was on the top of the challenging list. I had serious Kelvin temperature issues as well as with the overall lighting. It seemed like no matter how much light I put on the bike I could not obtain any dynamic range in the blacks.
This bike was photographed in the early days of the studio during Version 4 of our lighting design. To be very honest, we did not have a clue about lighting bikes and the challenges we were facing. I would give anything to shoot this bike again, with our current advanced lighting setup, Version 15.
