Bradley’s 1966 Royal Enfield GT

1966 Royal Enfield Continental GT with original factory paint work and a 249 cc kick start motor. This full fairing version was brought back to its original condition by Bradley Fawcett of Greenville, South Carolina.

If my memory serves me right, I ran into Bradley at Meltdown, the vintage bike show held every year in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Bradley brought three amazing bikes to the studio. Two of those bikes are in this book.

Royal Enfield claimed this was the fastest production 250 cc bike in 1965 to 1966. Each 250GT came from the factory with a five-speed gear box, but a four-speed was also included in the crate.

The Enfield Motor Cycle Company was founded in 1909 and manufactured motorcycles, lawn mowers, bicycles, and a few other engine related products. You can still buy a new Royal Enfield to this day.
