Wicked Motorsports’ Turbo Road Star

This 2006 Yamaha Road Star Warrior 1700 midnight edition bike comes with a custom built turbo charger. The turbo kit was built by Peyton Hall of Wicked Motorsports of Tooele, Utah, and Doug Nephew of LYFE Motorsports. The Road Star comes with a V-twin, four-stroke air-cooled engine.

The guys at Wicked Motorsports rock—period! When I moved my studio from Asheville, North Carolina to Tooele, Utah I needed a bike to photograph for the grand opening. The guys at Wicked Motorsports brought over Brad’s amazing chopper and then later in the week Peyton’s Road Star which is featured on this page.

Peyton had brought by his Road Star a few times over the last few years as he improved the bike and when we needed a bike for a light testing. During the last hours before this book’s materials were delivered for publication, Peyton managed to complete the install of a Turbo Kit. In our desire to capture the latest upgrades, we photographed the bike in the late of the night and got the images off just in time to make it into the book.
