The beauty of a small town is, when the word gets out that someone is honest and doing something good, they come. Danny’s bike is a tribute to the fire fighters who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks.
The red color was at one point, a very big challenge to capture. However in Danny’s case, Eli and I had just completed lighting setup Version 15 with new lights and a super large softbox. The bike was photographed with 26,000-plus watts of light, of which 1600 watts were on the floor, and the rest in the roof above. I love the back shot of this bike because it shows the grace, lines, and power of the bike.
