David’s 2012 Ducati Diavel: The Head Turner
David’s 2012 Ducati Diavel 1198 cc stock red has mini fairing and billet frame plug kit. The engine is a V2 four-stroke with a manual transmission that gives 162 brake horsepower at 9500 rpm. The energy source is injection through a Mitsubishi electronic fuel injection system. Its top speed out of production is 155 miles per hour.
This is the number one viewed bike on the Internet through my Facebook page and other forms of social media. Even with re-posts, it brought tons of comments and strong positive reviews.
As David, the bike owner, put it, “The bold lines and innovative shapes of the Diavel merge to create a superb, unmistakable design, capable of turning every head.”
I agree. The red color and overall bike did not turn out to be a challenge at all. I had no difficulty with the mix of color and bright-to-dark points. The tires did have a problem holding on to light, which even to this day I am not sure why—some tires absorb/reflect tons of light and others do not. I do know that in almost every case if the tire is brand new it will not reflect much light.
