I was running out of time. I needed to start packing up the studio for the move to Tooele, Utah. However, knowing that everyone knew that I was about to move, the rush was on for bikes to be photographed. The last sixty days in Asheville I turned down ten bikes.

In the case of James’s bike, I made a point to drive over to his shop, find James, work with his schedule, and get his bike into the studio. This is a special bike and a rare bike, given the original seafoam blue color. The Indian came in three primary colors, jet black, seafoam blue, and brilliant Indian red.

From a photography point of view, the big challenge was that part of the shop was torn up preparing for the move. However, all the lighting was still in place to accommodate the session.
