Slow Cooked Mexican Hot Chocó

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 2 hours

Servings: 6 to 8

Ingredients:

4 oz bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

1 (14 oz.) canned sweetened condensed milk

3 cups whole milk

2 cups heavy cream

½ tsp cinnamon

½ tsp chili powder

2 cinnamon sticks

Pinch of nutmeg

Directions:

1. Whisk the sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, heavy cream and spices together in a slow cooker. 

2. Stir in the chocolate and cinnamon sticks then cook for 2 to 3 hours on low setting, whisking at 1 hour interval. 

3. When the chocolate has completely melted, take out the cinnamon sticks then whisk properly and serve.

4. If you will be serving later, set the cooker to warm until ready to serve.
