IRISH ROSE

It’s a bit unusual to see whiskey mixed with fruity mixers, but the Irish Rose defies convention. Seemingly tailor-made for Mason jar presentation, this cocktail will dazzle any gathering with its rosy red hue. You’ll almost forget you’re drinking whiskey, making the Irish Rose the perfect choice to give your guests something new and exciting.

Makes 1 serving.

2 parts Irish whiskey

3 parts lemon lime soda

1 lemon wedge (juiced)

1 lime wedge (juiced)

1 part grenadine

1 lime wedge (garnish)

1. Add ice to your Mason jar. Add the Irish whiskey and lemon lime soda.

2. Squeeze the juice one lime wedge and one lemon wedge into the drink, then top with grenadine. Stir until thoroughly mixed.

3. Garnish with another lime wedge and enjoy!

VARIATION

Don’t have grenadine? You can make yourself a makeshift Irish Rose by substituting some cherry soda in place of the grenadine and lemon lime soda. It won’t taste the same, but it will still be delicious!
