NON ISLAND ICED TEA Images

A non-alcoholic Long Island Iced Tea seems almost like an oxymoron, but the joy of the Long Island Iced Tea centers largely around the fact that it just doesn’t taste like alcohol. With that in mind, it shouldn’t be too difficult to recreate the flavor profile sans booze—and many have!

Makes 1 serving.

1 part iced tea (unsweetened)

1 part lemonade

1 part cola

1 lemon wedge (garnish)

1. Add as much ice as you want and combine the liquid ingredients in your Mason jar. Stir until completely mixed.

2. Garnish with a lemon wedge and enjoy!

VARIATIONS

There are many variants on non-alcoholic Long Island Ice Tea, but this one most closely matches the Long Island Iced Tea recipe in this book. Others incorporate apple cider, ginger ale, pure lemon juice, and a plethora of other ingredients. Which you choose to adhere to will probably depend on which Long Island Iced Tea recipe you prefer.
