Swede or celeriac mash

1/2 medium swede or celeriac, peeled and chopped

1 leek, finely sliced (optional)

2 tbsp crème fraîche

Boil the veg vigorously for 10 minutes. Drain it, and mash it in the same pan with the crème fraîche and salt and freshly ground black pepper.
