The use of salt and seasoning is relative to taste. A certain amount of salt is necessary to balance a dish but eating too much salt can contribute to undesirable symptoms and potentially harm your health. In each recipe I give a range starting with the least amount to the highest amount needed. This is a suggested guideline for the use of salt and salty seasonings. I recommend that you try to stay within the range. If you are accustomed to more seasoning it may take some time for your taste to adjust. If you desire simply add a little more salt.
