The conditional is formed by adding the conditional endings to the full infinitive or, in some irregular verbs, to a modified form of the infinitive.
All conditional forms must have a written accent.
Note: The conditional translates as would in English, and often follows an “if + imperfect subjunctive” clause. (See pp. 46–48.)
