Cherubim Angels:
Protection from Negativity
Cherubim are angels of harmony and wisdom, and they provide protection from negative sources, so if you feel you need protecting in some way, these are the angels to call upon. If you find yourself in a negative or threatening situation and want some protection, call on the Cherubim angels and imagine a beautiful angel with his or her wings wrapped around you in the most comforting manner. It will be the Cherubim who will come at such times and bring positive energy to bear on the situation.
A friend of mine named Caroline found herself in one such situation at work. She was attending a meeting and it became obvious that one member of the team had a very negative attitude toward her and took pleasure in pointing out her mistakes in a way that made her look foolish and inadequate for the job. Despite her distress and despair at how to handle the situation, she kept calm and imagined a Cherubim angel enfolding her in love and protection. She really felt the comforting aura of the angel enveloping her, and her mind became clearer to the responses she needed to give. She was able to handle the situation in a positive manner and was able to reply to the various criticisms of her work in a way that proved herself more than adequate for the job. No harm was done to Caroline’s work prospects.
This example proves how willing angels are to come to our aid if we make the effort to contact them and ask for help. No matter how small the problem may seem to be, the angels are always ready to give their love and support, for no task is ever too insignificant for them if it causes someone distress. They understand the vulnerability of the ego and are always willing to protect and uplift us and bring positive energy to any situation.

Prayer to the Cherubim
Dearest Cherubim angels, I give thanks for your protection at this time in my life, and know that I am safe and well cared for with your love and guidance. Your positive energy fills my heart, and I know that with your help I can deal with all difficult situations.
Meditation with the
Cherubim for Protection
Sit before your altar and light your candle, remembering that the flame represents the power of the Divine that is within you. Your Guardian Angel is with you as always to offer added protection and support. Say the prayer to the Cherubim and then relax.
Visualize yourself in your special temple, and see before you the beautiful light of the Cherubim angel. The light from the angel enfolds you in a wonderfully protecting aura. This light permeates your whole being, bringing wisdom to enable you to deal with the situation in the most positive way. Ideas will come to you on how to resolve the situation, and you will know that there is nothing to fear, for angels are by your side every moment of every day radiating protective energy that enfolds you.
Visualize the other person(s) in a golden light as well, as this will greatly heal the situation. As an added protective measure, visualize yourself in the center of a cross of light in a circle of light. Hold this vision and feeling for as long as comfortable, then bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Close down your chakras as detailed in chapter 2, then take a sip of water to further ground yourself. Give thanks to the Cherubim for their help and protection. The next time you feel threatened, just hold yourself in the loving wings of the Cherubim angel and you will immediately feel safe and able to cope with the situation.
If there is some kind of immediate threat, hold yourself in a cross of light in a circle of light together with the enfolding wings of the Cherubim angel, and this will give you immediate protection.
