DINNER’S Ready!

CANDLELIT DINNER FOR TWO

images

At its most basic, a table is just another set of parallelograms. So we start by drawing a box, and we’ll cheat a bit with perspective and give it a horizontal top.

Use the corners of the box to draw in the legs of the table, bearing in mind that the table legs line up on those red parallel lines. Then, put on the tablecloth, which extends a bit beyond the width of the table, and folds at the corners.

Add volume to the table legs by drawing out each of their visible sides, and then add some detail to the folds of the tablecloth.

With the table all set, it’s time for dinner!
