A PAINTER’S BOX
Whether it’s open or shut, this retro painter’s wooden briefcase is made up of a bunch of those parallelograms. So let’s start by drawing a rectangle, with a bit of perspective added.
Add a second rectangle for the lid, and then create a bit of thickness around the edges.
From then on, it’s simple. To make the open box, drop some vertical lines from each corner, and connect them up.
Now you can fill it with stuff—and set off in the footsteps of those famous impressionist painters!
