And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins.
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.
And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him in the iniquity of us all.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
