Coated Ice Cream with Hot Chocolate
Ice-Cream Balls
You’ll Need
Wax paper
¼ cup peanut butter
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 teaspoons white granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 quart vanilla ice cream
Directions
1 Cover a cookie sheet or jelly-roll pan with wax paper.
2 Mix peanut butter, graham-cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon in medium-sized bowl.
3 Working quickly, form ice cream into balls and roll in peanut butter mixture until evenly coated.
4 Place coated ice cream balls on cookie sheet and store in freezer until ready to eat.
Hot Chocolate Topping
You’ll Need
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 cup water
3 level tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon butter
Dash of salt
Directions
1 Combine sugar, water, cornstarch, and cocoa in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until mixture thickens.
2 Remove from heat and add vanilla, butter, and salt, stirring until butter melts.
3 Serve hot over ice cream balls.
