You’ll Need
3 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup dried fruit (cranberries, apples, and/or apricots)
1 cup nuts, chopped (pecan, almonds, or walnuts)
3 tablespoons brown sugar
¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon salt
⅓ cup honey
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cups vanilla yogurt
1 cup strawberries
1 cup blueberries or raspberries
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 300˚ Fahrenheit.
2 Combine oats, dried fruit, nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt in large bowl.
3 Stir honey and oil together in saucepan over medium heat until blended well.
4 Pour honey mixture over oat mixture. Mix well.
5 Spread mixture onto greased baking sheet.
6 Bake for 10 minutes. Take out and stir.
7 Repeat baking and stirring 3 more times.
8 Let granola cool.
9 Place a scoop of yogurt in bottom of 4 large, clear glasses. Add a scoop of granola to each glass, and then a layer of fresh fruit. Repeat layering until each glass is full.
