Caramel Popcorn

You’ll Need

1 cup brown sugar

½ cup (1 stick) butter

¼ cup light corn syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

10 cups popped, unbuttered popcorn

Directions

1 Preheat oven to 250˚ Fahrenheit and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.

2 Melt brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and vanilla in saucepan; then boil over medium heat for three minutes.

3 Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon baking soda.

4 Pour syrup over popped popcorn. Mix well. Spread coated popcorn onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

5 Remove popcorn from oven and pour into large bowl.
