Volcano Cookies

You’ll Need

3 tablespoons cocoa

3 tablespoons butter

1 cup white granulated

sugar

2 eggs

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1½ teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

Powdered sugar

Directions

1 Mix ingredients, except powdered sugar, in large bowl and chill dough for 1 hour.

2 Preheat oven to 350˚ Fahrenheit.

3 Roll dough into balls.

4 Pour liberal amount of powdered sugar into a medium-sized bowl and toss cookie-dough balls in sugar until evenly covered.

5 Place balls on greased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until firm.

6 Remove cookies from oven and cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving cookies to wire rack to cool fully.
