Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Meatballs

You’ll Need

Cooking spray

1 pound lean ground beef

1¼ cups dried bread crumbs

4 large eggs

4 ounces milk

1⅓ cups grated parmesan cheese

½ medium onion, finely chopped

4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

¼ cup fresh basil, finely chopped

Directions

1 Preheat oven to 350˚ Fahrenheit and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.

2 Mix ingredients in a large bowl.

3 Hand-roll meatballs loosely into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake for approximately 15 to 18 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked.

4 Remove from oven and place in covered bowl. Serve with Sweet and Sour Sauce.

Sweet and Sour Sauce

You’ll Need

1 16-ounce can jellied cranberry sauce

12 ounces chili sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

1 Mix ingredients in a saucepan and simmer on low heat.

2 To serve, pour over baked meatballs.
