As with my previous book, Catboy, this book was edited and revised with the help of students across the Toronto District School Board.
Every Monday morning for eight weeks, students across the Toronto District School Board received between twenty and twenty-six pages of a new, untitled manuscript. They each read a section and decided what they liked, what they didn’t, what made sense and what they wanted changed. They would then email their feedback to me, and the book was edited and rewritten according to their suggestions. While I am listed as the author, Hunter had hundreds of student co-authors.
My thanks to the students and staff of Toronto District School Board who contributed to making this novel happen.
