CAPTAIN KIRK + MR. SPOCK Image

OPPOSITES ATTRACT and never was it truer than with the überlogical Vulcan Mr. Spock and the bold, audacious, often capricious Captain James T. Kirk. Their differences were the glue, the core strength of this originally short-lived yet eternally popular series that has spanned generations of TV, film, and universes beyond. They shared the captain’s chair, sparred over a great love, were the target of Klingons and the evil Khan, shared true human emotions over an intergalactic biracial marriage between Spock’s Vulcan father and human mother. On more than one occasion, they each risked their own life to save the other, because, in the end, human or Vulcan, womanizer or scientist, Roddenberry or Abrams, it was always and forever Kirk and Spock.
