PIZZA + ANYTHING! Image

HEY, COME OVER HERE. You wanna talk about billions of besties when it comes to food? No contest. Anytime, day or night, hot or cold, deep-dish or thinny-thin. Round unless you are in Chicago or Detroit and then rectangle. By the slice, a whole pie. A kid’s birthday party, living on campus/off campus/just moved out/just moved in/just moved back. How about a plain, just bubbly with cheese and tomato sauce, or throw some stuff on it—classic stuff, maybe basil for a nice margherita, or pepperoni for the kids, mushrooms for the vegetarians, sausage, prosciutto, garlic, peppers, onions, extra cheese. Oooohhh, you’re a fancy one, with your brick oven, having friends over out by the pool. Pizza with clams, shrimp, short rib (of course you made the brisket on the outdoor smoker). I don’t love pineapple, but, then again, when you’re serving the best friend of all food, anything goes. Including… wait for it… bianca, no sauce, four-cheese only. Your best foodie friend in the world says VIVA LA PIZZA! VIVA LA PIZZA!
