ANNE SVERDRUP-THYGESON is a professor of conservation biology at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and a scientific advisor at the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA).
Her research concerns nature management and biodiversity, especially the ecological role of insects in trees and forests. She teaches courses in nature management, insect ecology, and forest biodiversity. Buzz, Sting, Bite was originally published in 2018 in Norway, where it became a bestseller, and publication rights have since been sold in more than twenty countries.
